The Old Senate Chamber at the Maryland State house is one ofAmerica’s most historic rooms. I worked with Mark Wenger and MCWB architects to document the remaining pieces of the room that date back to its origins: its masonry.
We used rectified photographs of the masonry surfaces to accurately record findings made in the field in an effort to rediscover its original architectural finishes. here is a blog post which covers my original visit to the site
I will update this page with findings as the become available to me. Meanwhile look here for a snapshot of some of the work in progress.
