Grace Church (NYC)

Plan view at two different levels above finished floor

This project was completed to help establish the precise volume available for the installation of a pipe organ in this somewhat curious building designed by James Renwick in 1843 (much of it is built of wood to resemble stone construction). The organ builders, Taylor & Boody, are good friends – also located in/near Staunton VA – and have built a great contextual model to describe the existing conditions and proposed organ designs.
