Photogrammetry is often used to document hard to access and hard to describe architectural features such as plaster ornamentation. It can provide both the cold hard facts, so to speak, which means the layout, size, and configuration of the ornamentation such as in this rectified ceiling plan of one of the duPont rooms at Montpelier…
